Building capacity of the IIFCs and their staff lays at the core of mandated services provided by the IIFC Group to the IIFCs. The Microfinance sector in general and the IIFCs sector particularly are new in Afghanistan. Therefore, the sector lacks professionals. Building the capacity of the IIFCs staff is key to the success of providing financial services in Afghanistan.
IIFC Group provides job related and demand-driven training using its pool of internal and external trainers.
IIFC Group also makes it possible for the managers of the IIFCs to pursue formal education in their field of work that is offered by international universities through the web.
Capacity building program also embraces exchange programs among different geographical zones of Afghanistan. International trainings are also embedded into the capacity building scheme of the IIFC Group.
